Hooked the car up to my CTEK charger, the car had sat around between July and November without any decent journeys, so I suspected the battery was not at full capacity. 6+ hours on the car and it is topped up.
Then took it for a drive and filled the car up, again! |

So, this was great, as the description did a great job of explaining to a layman like me what it does.
Then he said just make sure you follow the steps carefully and it's super easy. The video switched views and I was immediately like: what the F part of the car is that? I can't do this. |

Put it to bed for four months. STA-BIL in the gas, CTEK hooked up, new car cover put on.

Yeah, I think they work on lowered and/or cars with side skirts, etc. with this setup. I think their normal setup has lifts that are too high.

I made the tough decision to move on from my M2 this week and changed to something more practical. I just hope that whoever gets it next takes really good care of it like I did.
Got into a 2020 X5M Competition with only 8200 miles on the odometer. The thing is badass. I will still be on here salivating over what everyone is doing with their M2's. Who knows maybe I will get back in one in a couple years.

Just installed active autowerk single mid for my G87. And also installed the SST valve controller that I bought from Extreme Power House.
First thought, videos on YouTube don’t do any justice. I was nervous about the single mid pipe and I am usually very picky with exhaust choice. Trusted my gut based off of what people’s word of mouth and pulled the trigger on it. Shout out to Active Autowerk getting the exhaust shipped within a week. And as for the valve controller, shout out to Extreme Power House, getting that shipped within a few days! Great companies and would highly recommend them. Overall, car sounds 100% better and fun to drive. Up next, wheel spacers and carbon front lip!

kenairways did you get the resonated or nonresonated single mid? Why did you pick one or the other?

I had the Equal Length on my last G87, so interested to hear what he has to say. I didn't order the downpipes this time. I'll let you guys speculate as to why. |

I went with the non resonated pipe since the single doesn’t give you the raspy sound like the equal lengths does. Also, it’s more deeper tone around mid range RPMs. I also wanted it to be a bit more louder so the non res was the only way. But AA did make a Gen 2 equal length to resolve some rasp but not all of it from what I’ve heard.

Been thinking of making the swap over but would only be interested if it’s a break even or cash back in my pocket.
