The rear OE michelins on my M2 were at 2/32nds & fronts at 4/32nds after 18k mi. Only issue with the Contis so far is I'm rubbing the fronts on the fender liner vents when reversing & turning - I have 15mm spacers. Didn't rub with the Michelins (maybe because the tread was 1/2 worn already when I installed the thicker spacers?) Stock ride height.
i hear you on the multiple vehicles and needing tires all the time LOL... thankfully my wife doesn't but my son's m2 and now my rs3 both ate through the OEM summers very quickly. the m2 oem tires were at 2/32nd in the back at 10k, front still had some life. I dont have any spacers and went with oem size. they have been great so far.

I'm about to need all 4 on my rs3 too.. all 4 are at 2-3/32nds at 11k LOL.. these summer tires are a joke.. i'll get the same dws06's for the rs within the month probably.

Can't complain I guess... part of having high performance fun cars is tires and brakes all the time LOL..

at least the m2 measured 9mm on the isweeps that I put on at 1k so I'm happy they are wearing VERY well.. especially compared to my rs that is at the same mileage and same isweeps (1500's) and they measure at 7mm somehow... what a joke, this rs is eating brake pads and that's with me driving compared to me son, should be the other way around.

in any case, having NO more dust on either car is worth just about any amount of money LOL...

Thanks.

Perhaps a dumb question, but since installing this new liner requires destructively modifying the stock fins, would this affect warranty? I would assume not, since it’s not really negatively affecting anything. However, since you can’t bring it back to stock, I’m not entirely sure.
