Well, if you go for a thin rubber with just the tread etched onto one side and your name and contact etched onto the other you could get away with cards of about 2.5mm thick.
Anyway, it appears that you are looking for something simple and elementary. p.s: I hope you did these cards in-house and have not paid someone to do it for you. The max any one of these should take is about 2 hours (including re-touching). |

I like B, it is easier to read and not as busy.

This is what I think but since you picked A already then nevermind.
"The designs are too busy. Business card design has a ratio of blank space to information which I allows the reader a level of legibility and memory recurrence. When there's too much going on it is hard to discern the image from the information. It appears as though your attempting to combine advertisement and networking into your card? A good attempt but, it just doesn't work, business cards are for conveying contact information, they are tools for networking, save the fancy images for advertising. Avoid using promoters cards as a go by, look at professional cards from fortune 5 company, a simple logo or name will do. You'll lose the boy racer image and increase credibility as a professional business, which is what you want but, then again maybe boy racers are the clients your looking to attract. Just my 2 cents. Good luck." |

Another vote for A, but you could use some of B minus the tread design and contact info and add some info about your business and use it for the backside. 2-sided for the next batch!

Thanks bud, I already got (A) but I will be designing another pretty soon. Thanks man. That's a cool thought there. Black and white background and have the tread marks in color. |

+1, those business cards would be good for an event flier, or something similar, but as business cards they are too "busy". Take, e.g., BMW CA's business cards. They are simple. They have the BMW logo, and their contact information. That's all that's required, and perhaps even desired. http://www.essortment.com/all/makingbusiness_rlcq.htm I'm looking through my desk right now at several business cards, and they all are pretty much the same... A logo, company name, contact information, and an indicator of the title/position of the card holder. The M3 is not a boy racer car, but imagine your card with a tricked out Civic on the front, would it still be as "cool"? You want people to focus on your business and who you are, what you can do for them, etc... not on an M3. |

I like the the first ones. Can you have them move the front over a little and put your logo on the front plate and show the BMW logo on the hood???? Or its awesome as is. Hope u make alot of money from these cards!
