I've got this plate holder; it does not have a BMW part number, but it's sold by the factory dealership in Munich and I've seen it on press & marketing cars on BMW's IG pages. I'm an OEM guy. It's an F80 so no fake M badgery here lol. No plate frame up front, I used a double-sided tape to stick the front plate on without a frame for a clean look.

Real cops are not the issue. Its the parking/traffic/meter maids that go around looking for things to give tickets for. Literally got tickets in front my house.

Have always used a BMW slimline frame. Now using IND's custom painted version, https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?t=1404815:

I prefer frameless for the clean look, but since I have the black plates, I wouldn't mind a black frame. I'm not sure I would want carbon fiber to match my roof, rear valence, exhaust and front splitter since the purpose of CF is to lighten and no frame is lighter lol. I'm not sure I would want an ///M either since I think the solo ///M3 CS badge looks better alone than paired with another on the frame, it makes it stand out more.

Not saying I don't enjoy a vintage dealer frame from time to time, or a unique location. But that's about it, 99% of cars on the road it makes me go wild how out-to-lunch people are about this kind of thing.

I went this one from a Tail of the Dragon run. I've ran it and the others in that area a few times. It's a great time!
