Mine arrived at the Port yesterday. (Chicago area dealer.)

I am imagine mine will sit for a while there as well, and show up to the dealer by April 1 or so, based on the launch schedule and stated restrictions.

I don't think so. Dealers are receiving their XM's ahead of the launch so I'm guessing they're going to get loaded onto trucks and sit at dealers until the 8th.

Great, thanks for confirming! That would be good, as I would be able to go check it out, which would help with the waiting (I think!).

I could be 100% wrong. My XM technically sat at port for 3 weeks before it was shipped out.

On the topic of salesmen lying, I was at a dealership yesterday and the salesman said BMW is going to stop M2 production early next year and want there to be a limited amount of M2s made. Anyone heard anything like this? I'm assuming it's a lie.

Ask him to explain in detail why a publicly traded company that's willing to slap an M badge on almost anything would purposely limit making money in such a way.

just ask yourself...if BMW is going to spend the time/engineering/marketing $$$ on such a limited run vehicle, why would they do it on their cheapest "special" car at $65,000

I predict the embargo on reviews will be lifted on April 4th using deductive reasoning. The G80/2 launch date was March 13th, 2021 which was a Saturday. The embargo on them was lifted on March 9th which was a Tuesday. G87 launch is April 8th which is also a Saturday and April 4th is the Tuesday before launch. Again, this is just a guesstimate.
