I would have been fine if the car was msrp plus the watch, but like I said earlier, it was like another $30k+ after the watch and I couldn’t justify the cost. Of course as you said, there are multiple levels of wealth so someone accepted those conditions to get the car.

This is what I did too. Would have preferred the metal roof and save $3k.

i thought it was either sunroof or CF only? so we can do sunroof delete and save $800 (or w/e value)?
Some markets the slick top is standard with CF roof or sunroof being options.

I think it’s a good looking car. And people will buy it regardless. Not many Gas powered 3 pedal cars left on the market. And all that being said, given the difficulty in getting one I’d say the are selling well.

Also I have one, and I quite like it. At least it doesn’t look like a Kia with a BMW badge

I like that BMW didnt stick to the same design that they did with the 3/4 series. For a company thats basically all about making everything across their lineup the same, it's nice that we get some choice.

I finally saw one in the wild the other day and i love how the new M2 looks. It's not beautiful like my F87 M2 C was, but it's aggressive and reminds me a lot of the E30 M3 which was also aggressive. While i dont think its a timeless design, it does make a statement and i think it stands out a lot in a good way.

I feel like this is the case with any Porsche GT car. I had a GT4 for a bit and honestly i find it hard not to compare it literally everything else its just that freaking good.

I had the privilege of driving a GT3 RS on a track in Las Vegas. Now when I drive any car and anywhere I just compare how much better of a driver's car that GT3 was. I am ruined forever....

It's pretty crazy how much better driving experiences cars get when you start hitting that price range. Granted Porsches are purpose built driving machines, but it blew my mind how much better my GT4 was compared to the Supra i had just before. And then people tell me that a GT3 is on a whole other level and i just cant even imagine what thats like.

I'm not sure I processed enough of the experience since I only had 5 laps and maybe 5 minutes of hard driving. On top of that there was an instructor barking out commands the whole time! It was amazing though and made me feel like I knew what I was doing around a track. Also got to drive a Lambo Aventador, Audi R8, Ferrari F430, and a Ferrari 488 GTB. The GT3 and the 488 were my favorites by far. I need to go back and try out some other cars.

Yeah ive done one of those driving experiences as well. I did a McLaren 570s and i loved it. I think what i loved most about that car was how incredibly raw it felt compared to the Ferrari 458 i also drove. Both are amazing cars, but at the time my main track toy was an S2000 and it kinda blew me away how similar the McLaren felt to the S2000, just with almost triple the power. McLaren is the dream super car for me. My Wife wants a GT3, so once we buy our single family home, those will be the goals. No kids for us, just cats and cars.

There were like 6 at the Kies auto show back in July.
Have been driving mine since April and have not seen a single one on the actual road in South NJ. Does feel bit more special.

I've seen 1 in the Austin, TX area one time, and haven't seen a single one in DFW.

Other than my own that I just picked up, in Houston, TX I have never seen one in the wild since I've started paying attention over the last 6 months. Dealers I have seen them so I know there are several and I do know a pair of guys here who have one I've just never seen them. Seen plenty of G80's and G82's

Super interesting. I have also never seen one where i live but i do know they are being sold as a lot that were on the lots only last month are now gone. Comparatively i actually saw a decent amount of F87 M2C when i had mine so its very interesting that this one seems to be a bit more rare even though it seems like they are making more?
