Randomly came across this on a facebook group with no further context and OP wouldn’t reply. Tried searching it on here with no luck but this seems to be the new M ui. Anyone know if this will come through an update or will this only be for the newer 2024 and later vehicles?

Would love to know this as well!! The initial info coming from bmw was that all newer cars with a idrive 8 would be capable of OTA upgrade to 8.5 but later there was conflicting info.

That's idrive 8.5 M with quickselect.

This is idrive 8.5M that we get currently (yes, it's confusing that there's actually 3 (maybe 4 ) different versions of idrive 8.5

Based on some pictures from the dealer selling a MY24 it's confirmed that early MY24 will not have the ID8.5 update.

Does anyone know if this is something they can update in the future? Or are we locked to 8 if we take a MY24?
