Angel Eyes Recommendations?
As the title suggests, looking to brighten up the eyes for my E92 Pre Lci.
Can anyone recommend some they've used? So many options out there for them. Thanks |

If you've got a couple hundred to spend then search for 'keep your car safe' on facebook.
They look fantastic, check out Steve's thread on his car build, it's how I found out about them. |

I went for some of these: http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/oem-led...ye-leds/H8-led
They seem a relatively good match to the OEM Xenons and are obviously better than the standard yellow rings. |

Sorry to hijack this thread but can anyone recommend some angel eye LED's for a E91 Lci with halogen head lights please as there just seems to be so many to choose from with prices varying wildly.

I bought a set of 20W CREE LED bulbs from eBay. They're 6000K so match the Xeons.
Fitted last weekend, very happy with them. Theres before and after pics at the bottom of my build thread, link in my signature below.

I'd really appreciate some photos after you fit them. I'd like to get some for our E92. The price looks good £200 is just mental.

Well they arrived a few days ago and I fitted them today. Pretty well packaged and much chunkier and more solid than I expected.
Easy enough to fit. The hardest part was refitting the wheel arch lining. The first one took me about 45 mins from start to finish and the second one only took about 15 - 20 mins. Very pleased with the results - nice white angel eyes now. |

i used lux great looking, one died after a few months or so, got a replacement no problem, now the other has blown just after a year of use and warranty has gone so i now have to pay another 220 pounds for the newer 180's. which is not happening.

Have you contacted us already about this. We will still be able to help you even if the warranty has passed.

i think the situation was made worse by the fact i had just paid 530 pounds for a repair on my car that didn't fix the problem, so more money to spend! Thanks |

I'd expect LED's to last much longer than that.

Images below of before and after, the LED's do flicker slightly when taking an image that's why there is a line but nothing to the naked eye. |

The way you posted these there is no reference to brightness to compare the old and new pictures.

Here's what I've been running for a few years without any problems. Not a plug and play option though!
