To get you an idea of the G87 M2 size.
Compared to the E90 M3: the G87 M2 is wider + identical length + smaller wheel base. BMW E90 M3: BMW G87 M2:

Barely shorter wheelbase yet the back seats are tiny. I assume that means the front seats have much more space and feels much more open

I don’t have a deposit or plan to own one, your reading skills are failing you amigo. Not sure why you feel the need to make this personal or project onto me. We can leave it there.

Not sure how I feel about an M car made in Mexico. Looses some of the cachet of your high performance car being tinkered on by the best German craftsman and the world and then sailing on a boat over to the USA. At least, they had the excuse with the SUVs that all SUVs were made in Spartanburg.

. Since he said German Craftsman maybe he thinks M cars are hand made or something?

Exactly! The first was the Z3 M Roadster followed by the M Coupe (Z3) and then thr Z4 M Roadster and M Coupe. Currently there are plenty of M specific X vehicles produced at Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina. Note, that Plant Spartanburg is now BMW’s largest manufacturing facility in the world. It has been highly successful. Last edited by T_U_D; 10-16-2022 at 08:19 PM.. |

I know M2 isn't a luxury car but I just realized even the X1 looks to have leather (or sensatec) dash and doors… M2 should at least have the option for this.

Even the 330 will give you standard sensatec dash and doors. M2 gets screwed.

Had to take my 2021 X5 in due to a engine light with 15k miles. Says radiator flaps break all the time. Awesome. Anyhow sat in couple models with the new screen. Ugh - just felt so odd. It's big but didn't have that cockpit feel. More felt like I was at my desk playing a car game…. Just put down a deposit for a CTR (#5) and a black wing ct5v (#9). Might be able to get one of these next yr and then maybe M2 LCI they will have address some of the body work and dash. Probably forgo my num 1 status for M2 at dealer.

I have a feeling the LCI won't address those things… just like the F87 LCI, the changes will be minimal cosmetics. I'm also sad about the loss of that cockpit feel… I wish the digital screens could at least have option to change the display to the old analog display |

Why so much tire stretch on the M2? The 3 and 4 look great on stock wheels/tires, but the M2 definitely doesn't. So, we need it lowered, on spacers, AND tires?
