Can you customize the order? Back when I customized my E90, there was a one-time fee of roughly 400 CAD. Once that was there. I could make as many changes with applicable fees as I wanted.

I selected a non-standard color, real wood piano black interior trim and adaptive headlight swapped to non-adaptive (I switched to Euro headlight to not have the orange in the light assembly.

I know choosing Individual colors are not possible at launch, but other changes might be feasible.

Apparently. Personally I would rather have the steel roof then blowing $2600 for the CF roof.

Correct. It is an unspoken rule of M cars, especially older M3s, that slicktop is what people desire. You can see that reflected in prices when comparing cars with/without sunroofs.

Also, performance wise you want a lower center of gravity which no sunroof/carbon roof achieves
