This is a shockingly fast time at Barber, and when you consider how stock the car is it’s even crazier. His minimum corner speeds through the kink show what a quick combo 305 section tires and massive balls can be.

IIRC:
Camber plates, weight reduction (rear seat delete, battery), racing seats up front, racing tires (cup 2s?), light wheels. No mods to engine, no tunes, no intake solutions, no changes to suspension (except camber), no changes to brakes. No coding at all, AFAIK. No custom aero. No body panel mods. |

It's impressive to see what a good driver can do with this car. Jackie certainly has some skills & is much braver then I am to drive at the limits all the time. I wonder what setting he set the M-traction control to this time. Looked like only a 1-3... if anything at all.

I think it's important to not always put it in the sport+ or most sensitive. Best to tailor it to your driving style. Whichever setting allows smooth modulation mid corner and corner exit is where I land. I'll switch it up if the car and/or track are cold. I tend to prefer a very sensitive throttle, but that's no bueno when the tires won't stick.

Congrats Jackie on the first place finish, and awesome that Kyle made it out unscathed. Unreal driving, I love how he focuses so much on the car and takes his insane driving skills for granted.

Thanks guys!
Sorry I’ve been slacking on posts and all. Life’s happening and I’m barely keeping up. Like mentioned above, it’s about tailoring the car to suit your driving style. I have a very aggressive right foot (lol) so a super sensitive throttle pedal isn’t for me. Comfort works well for me so that’s what I’ve stuck with. M TC, such a great feature. 85% of the time, I’d stick to Setting 6, as it allows me to rotate on entry and not hold me back too much. On special occasions, when the track is super low grip/greasy, or when I feel the TC is holding me back on corner exit, I’ll use M TC Full Off. Obviously it’s a much more *intense* experience and the M2 looooves going sideways, but sometimes I do find more speed that way. I hope you guys try your M2’s on track too. What a fantastic little track car. |

So true. Just infectious. I’m a school bus driver and I really want to slap an Asian Driver No Survivor sticker on the rear but it may get me released. (5% Korean)
