Speed limiter
So the SL on a M2 is 155. It’s 177 I believe with the m drivers pack which does nothing for the car. It’s only track days to teach you how to use the car. So if I wanted to change my 155 car to a 177 car, can it be coded to have the M drivers pack which should change the speed limiter to 177? Has anybody tried this? I don’t want to flash the ECU to take off the speed limiter. I would rather just get a JB4. Has anybody tried anything with coding the M drivers pack?

Years ago, before you were born, I bought a brand new 1972 Kawasaki H2 the fastest production motorcycle available. It wasn’t fast enough so I added expansion chambers, tweaked the carburetors, and had the ports polished. It was a monster, I was stupid for doing it but I survived. Think about that. The end.

I wonder if it can just be disabled all together? The speed limiter lives in the transmission. It's called the top of 8th gear lol. |

As a kid all Jap bikes were 2 strokes except for Honda.
I remember lusting over the new Suzuki GS750 of 1976 which was the first 4 stroke they made. A few years later I briefly owned a GS 1000S complete with bikini fairing and Walls ice cream paint job. Best 2 stoke I ever owned was the early RD 400 Yamaha which I managed to 'loop' breaking my leg in the process. |

I have asked my dealership about it a couple of times to see if I could buy the drivers package from them and have the ECU updated and they have told me no. Has to be factory specked. Was the only option my HEA didn't have that I wanted.
