Still in testing but its obvious it will be a new set of rear springs, at minimum, that will be used on the M2 compared to the upcoming M3/M4 kit.

Thank you!

So glad I held off on jumping in on buying every re-labelled kit currently available.

Watching your developments with keen interest, and thank you for the quick reply to his request and engaging with the community.

Well damn, what are some potential issues M2 owners could run into by using HAS kits designed for the G80/82?

Cost savings... current availability... oh wait, that's not what you are looking for is it? I'm joking. Glad someone is Engineering a product specifically for the G87 even though BMW no longer warrantees Dinan parts.

I don't know if there are any issues per se. An M3/M4 kit physically would fit the M2 just fine and "function". The vehicles just handle differently and have differing rates from the factory so applying one kit to the other isn't going to result in the best possible improvement is all.

BMW never warrantied Dinan parts. Why would they? It's not their part. Nothing has changed in regards to warranty. The abbreviated, and probably overly simplified, version is essentially if BMW determines that a failure has occured as a direct result of a Dinan part we would cover the claim.

You are correct, my poor choice of words. I should've said BMW refused to cover an extended warrantee on their engine because Dinan had tuned the vehicle.

Specifically E92 fuel injectors that had been covered by BMW once, were no longer covered with the excuse that BMW and Dinan had parted ways even though they were within the warrantee period. Neither Dinan or BMW would help so I sold the vehicle, which I loved up to that point. Disclosing the issue, the buyer had to have all 6 fuel injectors replaced out of his own pocket.

Ahh, gotcha. Not an accurate excuse given either but nonetheless. The reality is CPO and Extended warranties are treated completely different as they are held to a different standard. Won't get into the weeds on all the legal mumbo jumbo but ultimately the Dinan warranty has always been specific to the factory new car warranty (first 4yr/50k) where there are some legal protections afforded.

Did you have any issues with EDC once it was reconnected? Codes or reset required? Still nothing from Dinan and it's almost September...
