Haha yeah she wanted my car to use for her YouTube video

And funny enough, after driving her manual F87, I started liking my g87 less

The g87 is better in ALMOST every aspect
But the clutch, and the steering feel felt so much better in the F87!

Our Triangle area meetup last night turned into M2esday

Good times! One of them had buckets and the owner let me try them out. They were FANTASTIC! I love my cognac interior, but other than that, those buckets are really incredible

This is why we can't have nice things lol. Installed my Maxton Designs kit on Saturday and tok a drive on Monday and hit a very large racoon. Had nowhere to go as I had the curb to my right, a car to my left and a car right on my butt, so if I jumped on the brakes I'd be replacing more than just a front lip.

I cut the center section out until I get my replacement lip 😂

If I was you look in to light weight front lip...
Have 2 front lip cf ( broke ) on my OG M2
So I got one of the ltw lip.. From Europe auto source ///
Hand downs stong as hell..
If I had a New G87 M2 would pick this 1st.

Yup! There is a really active BMWCCA chapter here. They have a bunch of events, and a standing dinner every third Tuesday of the month. Would love to see you out!

Isn’t the light weight front lip like $800 and doesn’t extend to entire front of the bumper? It’s like half a splitter. The Maxton is $250 and covers the whole front bottom of bumper and wraps around the sides and looks decent. For the $$, I don’t think there’s another better choice. Unless you’re ultra careful all front lips hit something or scrape something eventually. I can’t bring myself to spend more than a few hundred max on a front splitter even though I’d love to have a MHC carbon.

I went with Suvneer since its carbon at $850. At least it’s not “as horrible” to break as the $1200+ lips. I’d probably just go gloss black too if I didn’t hate how it looks after like a month.

new wheels. Went with TicoM5's 963m wheels. excellent condition, the seller was very professional and wheels came perfect. Couldnt have asked for a smoother experience.

Exactly my thoughts and why I went with a cheap front lip. Low and behold it paid off on the first drive lol. It didn't hurt near as bad to order another $350 lip (with shipping) as it would to order a $1200+ lip. To each their own but I've learned my lesson over the years 😂

And for what it's worth, no lip, no matter how thick and robust was going to survive a collision with the raccoon I hit haha.

Damn that is pricey. I thought it'll be same price around 400 to 500 bucks

But it's still better than having a carbon fiber splitter that might break within 3 months
