Super easy. I popped the old badge off using a plastic vinyl squeegee, didn't take much effort. Then hit the residual glue with a rubber vinyl remover drill attachment (just because I had it around from my spoiler install), you could just as well use some goo gone or adhesive remover and clean it after. I prefer to use alcohol to remove the adhesive remover, and if I'm sticking on anything larger than a small badge, I'll use 3M adhesive promoter. Pro tip: use painters tape to tape around the old badge, so the new one goes on straight.

What do you mean by import into Germany? I was told that they were made there by the dealer

The service/parts department here told me they didn't have the new M2 rear emblem in black for sale yet when I picked up my car...

Super easy, I should've used fishing line for a more clean removal but I ended up using a small plastic scraping tool thing to take off the badges and removed the excess using isopropyl alcohol. My car is very new so 99% of the 3m adhesive stayed on the car making the whole process sort of annoying but nothing too difficult. Make sure to mark off the badge area with blue masking tape so you know where to put the new badge and so that you don't accidentally rub isopropyl alcohol on more areas of the paint than you need to. Took me about 30 minutes because I'm a perfectionist

My badge from IND-Distribution arrived today and installed it. Great quality and looks really nice with the AW color. .

I just installed my black gloss m2 badge from IND. I noticed that the 2 is a little far from the M. Idk if it’s just my mind playing tricks cause of the color difference though.
Does anyone know if the stock silver badge and black Ind badge are the same size? |

The distance appears to be identical in both photos. One photo is taken at a slight angle which may be giving the appearance of a difference.

The newer/upcoming models seem to have an outlined emblem (ref: XM or the 2025 LCI M4 comp). Found these on aliexpress for cheap and are of relatively decent quality....might try them on this weekend and see how I feel about them
