How many spacers on the BMS clutch stop on the G87?

According to a picture on the BMS website, on 2019+ BMWs, you’re supposed to cut that first pointy nub off?
Yet that tidbit isn’t in the instructions that I can see.

Also, how many spacers for a safe install? Are all (4?) spacers recommended on the G87?

I remember on my 135i, I had to remove one spacer (couldn’t run all spacers) because the clutch wasn’t fully disengaging (very bad for clutch and synchros.)

If you check the Burger site, it describes cutting off the nub:

https://burgertuning.com/products/bm...06-mini-cooper

Also there is a big thread here, seems like a few people have taken off one disc:

https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2024106

I haven't had time to install mine yet, looking forward to trying it out.

How did it go? I just got the BMS Clutch Stop but can't decide how many spacers to use. This piece looks filmsy as hell so I'm assuming its only going on once before it breaks.

I don't have my G87 yet. And it kind of is a one-time use item. They're pretty cheap though! Let us know how many you use and how it goes.

Putting mine on Friday along with CDV Delete.

I’ll be taking 1 spacer off and running 3.

Mine was delivered last week. Your thoughts on 3 vs 4 would be great.

So I just got back from the CDV delete and the BMS Clutch stop (3 spacers instead of all 4).

First thoughts: why doesn’t the car come like this from factory?

These 2 mods are superb for all 6MT users. The clutch stop really helps get into your catch point quickly, and the CDV delete allows you to row gears without any lag or jerking motion. It feels like I am in a true M car now.

I did not find anything I dislike. It takes some getting used to as all things do, but my rev match works fine and the clutch is still fully depressed without a dead zone.

I also just submitted a request to be on the waitlist for an autosolutions short throw shifter to couple these 2 modifications.

Because people kept blowing up their diff/tranny because they didn't understand how to properly use a manual transmission. The jerk is still smoother than a complete idiot trying to shift.
