equal length or non-equal length midpipe?

I'm trying to decide between an equal length midpipe and a non-equal length midpipe for g87 m2. For those who have experience with either, which do you recommend and why? Any insights on performance or sound. Thanks.

AA Equal length midpipe screams above 3-4k RPM. Just trust me and get it

Equal length is more aggressive. Single is a bit smoother.

Personally went AA EL. Valves closed still mellow. Valves open in sport + is a different story lol. Will likely add their axle back at some point too since it maintains oem valve control for a bit more. DP if wanting to get really rowdy.

Experience with both. Not a ton difference between straight pipes (not talking single) and an EL.

EL is a bit more refined sounding due to the distribution of flow equally.

Non EL still sounds great.

AA EL Mid-Pipe sounds like a refined scream at 5K-7K RPM (e.g., a big-boned opera singer holding a note). It also looks way cooler than a single.

I have the Evolution Racewerks midpipe.
Here's the install on my car.

The quality on this midpipe is so good. Top freaking notch. The exhaust sounds absolutely awesome. It's really tame in Comfort, sounds about one and a half times louder than stock in Sport, more burbles with a nice deep tone, and in Sport plus, you're waking up neighbors. If you're on the fence, get it.
