Definitely sounds much better, can now get burble and pops in comfort mode.
Even works in this mode that you never dare to press in an M240i am sure it’s called Eco

After I've detailed the car I try and stay off the brakes as much as I can, coast and engine/gears to brake in and around town to reduce brake dust. If your doing 30 or under knock the gear selector to sport…. It'll instantly drop to S3 and just let it roll, when it drops to S2 and starts to go under 2k revs it properly burbles 😂. Should really try and grow up buy hey 🤷🏼*♂️.

Does pulling this fuse stop the parking assistant from working? I heard this was the case on my last car for the F40 135i.

I have done the same on my current Supra as that doesn't have the park assist function. But I will try this once I get mine in a few months.

Lord Two Hats - may be prudent to check the Moss-Magnason act (I think this is the right name). There are very specific limitations on what claims an auto company can deny when modifications have been made to a vehicle. A modification in one area does not permit a blanket warranty claim denial for everything.

I can confirm both parking and reversing assist still work when pulling the fuse. I should bloody hope so I would hate those systems to be 7.5amp only

Ahh that's great to hear! Not that I actually used any of them anyway on my pervious car. Reverse assist came in handy once I think.

Is there an update regarding finding what OBD is compatible with the G42? (I am mainly looking for it that allows me to use it for service intervals like rear brakes)

Props for using the search but this thread is very old.

https://bimmercode.app/cars/bmw/2-se...-coupe-m2/g42/

supports the g42 now.

I am fairly new to BMW, but understand that they're required to be put into service mode for the rear parking brakes.

In bimmer-code supported codes options for the G42, I don't see anything mentioning "Parking brake service mode." Am I missing something/misunderstanding?

From the looks of it, bimmerlink and bimmer code both function on the same OBD adapter. Bimmerlink does the parking brake service mode. This is the adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NFLL3NT...hk_typ_imgToDp
