I finally received the part. It's a very sturdy piece and doesn't bend easily. Wasn't able to just slide it in through the front opening and tie it. Probably either need to remove the bumper or trim it down more🤔

Can you provide close in pictures on how you attached it?

Any tips as to the installation method to minimize dissassembly?

Thank you.

DIY with ABS honeycomb sheet from amazon, had to cut to fit and secure with zip ties but the end results looks how the car should’ve came from factory.

I ended up not installing it. Trimmed the piece and it still won't bend and slide in. Very sturdy.

Someone else has done it here https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=116
and bumper needed to be removed.

Has anyone tried or seen the Vorsteiner front mesh?

The pics look good - more upfront positioning, providing protection to both the front facing and bottom facing coolers. I can’t tell how they are secured, eg zip
Ties etc.

I am also interested in the Vorsteiner front grille. I can't find any info on mounting.

Not if you install them correctly.

That's even a concern for the stock plastic grid that sets tight to the radiator, as I've got little debris stuck in there. All in all a BMW fail.
I think I like these horizontal slats more because the kidneys are horizontal. Would have to see a wider angle to be sure.
