Front passenger seat not moving forward automatically

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding the passenger seat functionality on my G87. Normally, when I fold the passenger seat forward to access the rear, it should automatically move forward, but recently this feature stopped working. Is there a switch or button I need to activate to get this feature working again? Thanks in advance!

I had to reset my seat in one of my older M3's years ago. You might want to try the seat reset proceedure.

If I remember correctly; power to car on, but engine off. Move the seat all the way forward until it stops. Release button and press forward one more time.

Now move it all the way back. Once it stops, release the button, then press back one more time.

Im pretty sure that was what the proceedure was. I could be wrong though.
