There’s no quick fix or super cleaning product or brush or pre-rinse or dry spray solution. The brake dust/wheel design is a major PITA. Change pads or spend valuable drive time cleaning.

Pad changes involve compromises discussed in other threads ad nauseam.

Make a decision best for you.

I haven't tried the iSweep pads yet although they sound good on paper. I do know I changed out my pads on one of my other cars for ceramic items, and they are amazing. Virtually no brake dusk at all. slightly weaker initial bite (which I don't mind as most modern brakes are over-sensitive) but great overall performance with nearly no dust.

Bilt Hamber Korrosol & a good scrub followed by Poorboys wheel wax or Bilt Hamber Hydrawax works fine for me.

(Yes, I confess - I’m a BH fanboy)

The brake dust makes me dread wash day. Ceramic coating the wheels and Renny Doyle Brake Buster cleaner worked fairly well. Still spent more time on the wheels than any other part of the car.

EBC Red Stuff has been our best seller with the Porterfield R4-S right behind it.

The OEM pads with the birdcage wheels made me dread having to clean them multiple times a week ( I HATE dirty wheels ).

The combination of iSWEEP 1500 pads and new easier to clean ceramic coated wheels has made it a breeze. Now just once a week I spray on a little Armour Detail Supply Wheel Cleaner ( it's PH neutral ) followed by a rinse and leaf blower to blow the water out and they are perfection 👍

I, like many, switched to iSweep 1500. After replacing OEM 930M, the only requirements for a perfect clean are a foam cannon and Adam’s Polish Mega Foam.

No brushes, no scrubbing , no extra cleaning products. Nada, zip, nothing.

More driving, less cleaning.

Carefree what made you pick the 1500s over the 2000s? I have been going back and forth between these two. Maybe you can't go wrong with either?

That’s not true.
I’m in the penalty box for unsportsmanlike conduct.
