2 months since allocation, still not in production. Im starting to think this car will never get built Called genius and they said they have no further information.

I think they advertised it weird and made it too easy to get an"individual" color on these cars and most of us didn't realize it would be the full individual experience with massive delays.

Heard from my CA yesterday.

"from the vpc controller:

'I have requested this unit be added to the RUSH Priority list, waiting for port to provide an expected completion date for these accessories.'"

Hopefully we get some movement soon. Today is one month since the car arrived at the Port in Newark.

What status are in your right now? What is your build week? These two things are known if you really have an allocation.

Our cars should be on one of Glovis vessels. It seems Glovis Sunlight has left Veracruz port on Dec 9th.
As I still do not have an update on the staus, I guess I might have to wait for few more weeks.

Looks like the ship is waiting in line, drifting off the coast. It was scheduled to arrive 12/10, but the marinetraffic info incorrectly said 12/9.

On a more somber note, the Malibu fires must have been quite a view from the sea last night.

Just talked to my CA. Moved to In Transit today after about a 5 week wait in Ready for Transport. My car is on Glovis Sunlight. Car was picked up at Veracruz, but the ship is now stopped at Altamira, hopefully scooping the rest of your guys' cars. ETA to NJ VPC is 12/17! Can't wait to see grigio telesto in person.

Individual colors can add 12 weeks to build times.

Been a month since I left my deposit for a new build. Still waiting for the VIN to be made available. Is this the norm?

Asks your dealer if they have an allocation. Then they have to put in an order. Then you get production number. You are a long way from seeing a vin.

I am in "order received" How do I obtain the build week? Genius is saying there is no build week. Maybe I talked to someone who isnt a genius?

Ok, you won’t have a build week until you switch to status 112, which you are presently not. Once in status 112, you can find your build week using the F12 trick with mygarage (just search the forum for how to do this). You can also find your status code using the F12 trick too.

To be clear, if they have an allocation and an order has been submitted… is the expectation that they would follow up with me and provide that prod #? If so, do you know about how long that process takes to get the prod #?

Prod number is instant if they actually have the allocation. No production # = no allocation.

They prob had an allocation open right then. My dealer didn't get new allocation for 2 months after my deposit
