Got word over the weekend that the wheels I ordered are done, and will not just have to wait for shipping.

3 weeks from deposit to confirmation of the wheels being done. Was told it could take up to 5 weeks, so this is a nice surprise.

Should take 20-25 days for shipping.

Now I have to figure out where to go to get tires mounted and on my car!

Andy at VT is great to work with. Just curious what made you decide on 9.5 in front instead of 10?

Great question.

I started by simply asking Andy what so many of the others on our cars were ordering, and asked if it was chosen based on feedback from the owners.

And after doing a bit of side-research on that same question from people with our cars who went with wheels, I decided the stick with the same.

The one thing that kept me with the 9.5" vs the 10" in the fronts was the possibility of rubbing at full lock of the steering wheel.

After asking around, it went from low-to-no chance of rubbing at the 9.5" option, while people said no-to-definitely a chance of rubbing on the 10" option.

I am daily driving this, so other factors on handling, etc. didn't come into play for me.

Hope that helps!

Interesting! The logic makes sense. I went 10" SLA in the front with the mp HAS all the way down no issues no rub at full lock on the oem 275 ps4s. However I just did the r44 fender clearance kit so I can finally move to 285 on the front that would have rubbed otherwise.

Yeah, to be sure, it was a bit of a coin flip on whether the 275s were rubbing on the 10". But I just didn't want to deal with it, so i stuck with the 9.5" to put the odds closer to zero on having to worry about the rubbing.

But I do love the idea of going to the 285s. It's great to know that you're all the way down on the MP HAS and not rubbing. I'll have to store that away for later!

Well, it's not letting me upload pictures right now. Not sure what's wrong except that it's giving me a server error code.

But oh well. All I was going to do was upload a few pics of the wheels that are on their way.

Maybe AndyVTForged can help me out!

Does anyone know any specific details/information (or can just point me in the right direction) for BMW Roadside Assistance?

I realize I never even thought to look this up and I used it once when I got a flat...and then realized I had no idea what I can or cannot do with it.

Thanks!

I will get more pics once I can wash the car. But here's a first look with the new wheels on for now.

Where is everyone getting their iSweep brake pads? And are you ordering them with the wear sensors together? Or somewhere else?

Any help is appreciated!

I see posts some other threads, but I'm too lazy to scroll to find posts this specific while parsing out the comments on how much it helps with the dust and/or squeal.
