Seen "Juror #2" of Clint Eastwood last night.
Interesting plot approach is the fact that you're shown fairly quickly what has truly happened and that you can follow, as a fly on the wall, whether everyone involved manages to get closer to, or further from, the truth because of case-related or personal reasons.

Watching Yates's Bullitt again and sure the car chase being one of the best but the general plot may be a little confusing for some (including me at first) centering on bent politician Chalmers asking Bullitt to protect a government witness who is of course taken out by two hit men at a secret location, but how they knew where he (door safety chain being unlocked) was gets interesting so including a review.

Now got myself into thinking what is the best car chase of all and another Yates' flick just a year previously to Bullitt comes to mind from the film Robbery with the crims favourite wheels at that time being those Jaguar saloons, Mk2's and ropey handling S-types. More to follow later and why not post your own ones too..

I’ve watched Midnight Run several times in the past and just re-watched it during the Christmas holiday season. I like Robert De Niro’s style, especially how he expresses his anger with the F-word. The sad part was when he met his daughter.

Watched the Wicked movie last night. I'm at a loss for why it's so highly rated. It wasn't "bad", but not anywhere near as good as the hype. What am I missing? I found it sort of boring, the songs not very catchy, and the directing just too messy and cluttered in its delivery. the performances of the 2 main characters was pretty good, but nothing earth shattering.

I thought that Gladiator II was well done, it tied a nice ribbon around the original and was especially impressed with the Forum scenes.
