Has anyone had issues with the black gloss trim around the rear reflectors turning blue like this photo? Dealer said it was not a factory issue and will not cover replacement. Any feedback appreciated

What was the dealer’s rationale for rejecting that as a warranty item?

I think an email to the dealer principle may be in order.
That should absolutely be a warranty concern to a new premium vehicle of this value.

IND sells more attractive replacements. i'd take it as your sign to upgrade, even if the dealer is being obnoxious about it.

Back to topic. It looks like the was hit with something small, maybe a stone or maybe someone hit it with a shopping cart or something out of the norm. I say that because it doesn't look like a paint bubble, it looks like paint cracking from impact. I would wash the car and if it doesn't come off and is indeed cracking paint, take the part off (you can do this with a trim tool, I've done in when changing the reflectors out), sanding and repainting the piece. It shouldn't be that difficult. This is if the dealer wont do it for you of course. If you have questions, let us know.
