My G87 build is more GT3 Touring than GT3 big wing type and I think a nice ducktail/whaletail trunk would finish it off really well. Similar to what BMW is doing with the G87CS/CSL.
I can think of only the Alpha N unit and at over $4K, that really is pushing it. Anyone else think that type of wing/trunk fits the car really well outside of a huge wing?

Only ones I am aware of are Alpha N & Vorsteiner.

Also, the upcoming M2 CS will have a similar trunk you might be able to buy from OEM.

Persoanlly, not a fan....but, VIS may have one (dont know if they produced for the G87/G42 or not). Their quality is obviously not to Alpha's level but if you wantba cheaper alternative...

I dont think the OP is referring to a dpoiler but a one piece trunk/decklid with molded spoiler.

I love the look but don't think it's worth the expense. As long as you don't put a cs emblem on the car, 99.99% of people won't know the difference.

It's no different than replacing the stock trunk lip with an M Performance rear spoiler, imo. I don't care about what anyone thinks, it's not their car. In the same vein, my opinion shouldn't matter to anyone else

Trying to pass something off as a different model (by putting badges, emblems, etc.) is being a poser. Making cosmetic or performance enhancements is not.

What if you had the trunk prior to when the CS comes out? Would that make the CS a poser?
How do you feel about a front lip? Somebody might confuse that with another car for some reason or another.
Screw that, modify your car to your tastes and enjoy looking at it and driving it.

This is all true but as I pull into Katies I wanna feel pure of heart and that trunk will unpure my morning. This of course is my opinion only and doesn’t apply to anyone else. As for front lips I’m going with that weirdo Lightweight one

You can get unpainted for as low as 1k from Chinese distributors. Dry carbon for a bit more. I doubt the two vendors listed above manufacture their own or source stateside.

I personally love the look, the OEM lip is exactly that, underwhelming compared to the rest of the car and needs adjustment. A 1 piece compared to a separate spoiler would complete the look.

You get 90% of the look you want with a paint matched spoiler like the Unit 17 oem plus option....alot cheaper and should still look great.
