Pressing sets memory switch #1 takes 2 presses to work?

Background: I have the key that I always use and I have seat memory 1 set for my normal seating position. I set memory 2 as my “easy entry/exit” feature as I’m short so getting in and out is easier with the seat set to backwards so once I shut off the car and before I open the door I press 2 and the seat goes to where I set it.

Once I get back into the car I press memory 1 to have the seat go into my driving position and this is where the issue arises. When I press 1 the seat moves a small amount down and backwards but not to where I have set it. I need to press 1 again and then it will move into the correct position.

I have already tried to move the seat around and then re-do the memory feature for both 1 and 2 and the issue still occurs.

I have also tried the “seat calibration” that is described in the owners manual where you move the seat all the way forward and then release and press it forward again.

Are you hitting the start button while the seat is moving?

I do the same: set 1 for drive, set 2 for exiting. In mine (auto), if I'm in drive/reverse I have to keep holding the button until the seat reaches my set position. In park, I press once and the seat moves all the way to the set position.

I’m in park and memory 2 (my easy entry/exit) works fine (one press only) but if I press memory 1 it first tilts the seat back a little bit and drops the seat down a little and stops. I then need to press it (#1) again and it’ll go to the actual preset position.

I'm stumped. I'll troubleshoot a bit when next I'm out and about.

I do very similar, preset 1 for driving, preset 2 for exit/entry.

Preset 1 won’t stick when the car is running, I have to hold it. I’ll double check for 2. I assume this is a safety feature.

What you are describing is normal and I need to do the same thing (hold the button if in gear). What I am describing is occurring whether the car is running ir not and it is in park.
To add to specifics, the issue I am having occurs whether I am using the physical key with the car or my phone/digital key.

This is not likely very helpful. However, no matter what I tried, normal operation for memory set is one-touch for both buttons 1 and 2. Conditions: car is 1) running or in accessory (on) mode and 2) not in gear. I can't get it to produce the kinds of behavior described by EMZWEI.

One-touch works even when I shut off the during the seat adjustment. I set up a profile w/my second key but one-touch operation was the same.

Not sure what else to try. I'll report back if bahvior changes.
