Sorry, no link. Cut out from a $30 sheet of abs plastic "car grill mesh" on Amazon.
4 Zip ties strategically placed out of sight(hardest part of the install)
Fyi, I was also able to cut a piece for the underside from the same sheet.
Hi, were you able to cut attached the mesh to the underside with zip ties also?

took a trip to the tail of the dragon
I'm not sure if waze wasnt showing me cops or people werent marking them but I had some seriously close calls that would have been catastrophic without the radar detector lol I think I passed at least 10 on the way over there.
I've never driven a manual on the TOTD before so I wasnt sure what to expect but I left it in 3rd the whole time and it was fine, enough torque to spin the wheels coming out of corners and theres not that much straight to need to upshift- overall fun day!

Heres a little clip from ontop of the dam:

And a bonus me trying to skid it in a parking lot up there

What caused it to lose the tenth (0.1)?

I discuss it more in my journal post, but there is a gap designed into the front center of the lip. I would have preferred no gap, but it's such a minor thing!

I agree. I think it’s perfect besides the front scoop/gap. Still looks great.

Look great. Andy is a top tier guy to work with. I'll likely get a second set from him if I opt to swap the current ones or on the next ride.

Today marks 7,307mi, so it’s time to clean my steering wheel for the first time. I’m super ocd about my alcantara steering wheels so I don’t usually wait this long but I’ve been lazy about it. I’ve used the Crep shoe cleaning kit on all of my cars and the included horsehair brush. Finish with a fresh micro fiber and let dry. Looks and feels brand new again. This will be a monthly cleaning from now on.

How are you liking the Alcantara wheel? I almost optioned it on mine but I decided to wait until it’s avaialabke to order separately so I can keep the original leather wheel as a backup. I saw one other user on here complain it was too fat. Yours definitely looks like it might be thicker than the standard leather wheel. Which would match what I found when I owned an M2C with the M Performance Alcantara wheel. It was definitely thicker than the wheels in the other F87s I had.

I’ve had several cars with Alcantara wheels. Most recent was an FL5 CTR. I kept it clean with Sonax Alcantara cleaner applied with a microfiber cloth and gentle use of a suede brush. Worked great.

I love mine. I option it on all my cars if available. That last photo makes it look thicker because of the wide angle it’s not bad at all. I do recall M performance wheel on the F87 being comically thick and having an awkward plastic bottom piece. The LCI wheels are the same diameter leather or alcantara.
