The 1963 Porsche 2000GS "Dreikantschaber" was a class winner in the Targa Florio race in Sicily. It was built on a 356B chassis. Only two of these were built.

For those who don't care for the Porsche 356B-based 2000GS looks, I get it.

For me, the poster child for ugly as always been the early '60s Daimler SP250. What's not to like? 2.5 liter V-8 British sports car

Sure it was awkward looking, but as soon as you fired it up the glorious exhaust note won you over...fast, it was a great police chase vehicle. Almost bought one.

Arguably one of the al time great shapes. I love the engineering and the cratsmanship but the whole thing is a bit too much. Turbos sort of blunt the experience, it deserves a NA Busso V6 maybe bored and/or stroked a little and wrung right out. Yeah it'd barely be 340HP but it'd be better.
