They're pretty easy to do. Post up some pics when done!

That's what I said. Its easy watching someone else who knows what they're doing do it!! No seriously, having seen Teddy do it they just pop out and the new ones snap back in.

If the grills are for an e90 - they aren't just pop in/out - they are scrape your knuckles and fly across the road when it gives!

Heya
When I did mine I think I snapped some of the plastic on the actual bodywork that holds them in place, any suggestions on how to repair that ? On the 335d you have to undo the 4 star shaped screws ontop of where they sit to get at the clips behind, and I think I might have used a bit too much force to try and get them out as I snapped one of the holding bits of plastic ! Bummer, looks like a bit bit of front bodywork to replace all for a bit of plastic! Oh well they're on, and if I'm gonna be pedantic they don't sit exactly flush one sits a mil or two lower than the other, luckily the one where I snapped the plastic behind still sits in solidly due to all the other clips. Will get a pic up. |

When I pulled my right side grill out, I cracked it
The other side I was more careful on and since I could use the other grill as a tab reference, I made sure and pulled it out one tab at a time. Be careful not to drop a screw when putting the mustache on the bonnet. Because the screw wont fall to the ground through the engine compartment. The plastic under engine splash guard/wind deflector, covers the entire underside If you're lucky enough to see the screw dont try to use your magnetic screw finder, as the screws arent metal....ask me how I know I ended up driving my car onto ramps, getting underneath and banging on the undertray to locate the screw. I was finally able to isolate the screw into a position that I could reach my had over and grab it. That ended up being a stone Did it again, and voila, got it. A 5 minute job, turned into a 45 minute job |

One of mine was stripped too, but from the factory. So when I tried to get it off, the screw just kept spinning and not loosening. Ended having to pry that piece off Luckily I like the black grill or else I'd have to buy the stock stuff again |
