Don’t think it had any interior changes however if you look at the M4 G82 LCI that’s got new rear/front headlights and new dashboard and steering wheel. If anything I think the M2 will be like the M3 LCI coming it will get the new dash and one set of lights updated (the M3 is only getting new headlights) |

F87 LCI went into production in 07/2017 and was the 2018 model year OG M2. It was only in production for 11months, ending in 06/2018 before being replaced by the F87 M2 Competition. The M2C got all the LCI updates but also received the S55 engine, revised front bumper/grille, new wheels, M side mirrors, M front seats to name a few. |

The Recent LCI for the M4 they only changed the lights, dashboard, steering wheel and they added silver wheels. They may change the bumpers to fit the lights but I wouldn’t call it a big visual change. |

Pixelated image of model year '25 G87 is now showing up on the backend. This means we're close to BMW making an official announcement.

These LCI changes are minimal. The x-drive version is probably the competition?
But I'm struggling with that, it's frankly, disappointing. X-drive+competition I'll just get an M3, there's damn near no weight penalty, a huge step up in usability, and the M3 comp is a track monster. Trying to decide on an M2 vs a Cayman GTS 4.0 or GT4 or some sort of 911 GTS. Seems like BMW is just compromising everything right now which muddy's the water for a decision like this. The Cayman with the NA motor drives really well, makes a great noise, it's super expensive, there are some clutch issues as well with the MT cars. The BMW would make an excellent weekender but 3800lbs??? Manual only on the base car...shit like that is annoying.

There's some dealers doing it with no ADM but the lists are pretty long. I'm number 13 at one dealer and 9 at another.

525HP & RWD is going to be wild on the G87
X-Drive would have been awesome, but I'm loving this from a weight standpoint. This right here has the potential to go down as one of the greats

Updated first post.
BMWBLOG suggests the M2x will arrive in calendar year 2026. "Looking further ahead, 2026 could be the year when BMW will give its smallest M car an xDrive setup." |
