We only produced 19" ML-10RTs for the first production run in the 5x112 BMW fitments but if you'd like to see 18" options for this chassis, please complete this form and we'll track that demand over time: https://apexwheels.com/pages/stock-notification

I too love the ML-10RT Anthracite, and would love to see 19/20 staggered setup close to M2 OEM.

How doable is the Falken rt660 in 295/40r18 on 18"vs-5rs with a diameter of 27.4? I prefer more sidewall and a heavier load tire with 200tw and I am debating options.

I will likely go 19x10 and 295 35 all around.
Unless an 18" option is available when I can order.

295/35 tires on a 10" wheel?

I would expect the car to feel unresponsive and squishy with that setup.

I looked over the dwindling supply of 18" tire options and took the advice of my buddy who said to buy the tires not the wheels. Deposit down on ML-10RTs in 19x11. Gonna buy some discount Porsche spec 305/30r19 tires from my dealer.

Yeah, this is part of why we opted to only produce one 18" fitment for G8X cars. The tire availability just isn't there for 18" fitments on these cars. To address the original question though, I would run a 295/35-18 if you can source one rather than a 40 to give you a better chance of not rubbing when turning up front.

A 295 section tire is a bit too wide to be optimal on a 10" wide wheel. You can run it, but you likely won't extract the most performance out of the tire as the sidewall isn't well supported. 295/35-19 is also not going to easily fit up front because of its height. If 295 square was your goal, I would recommend our VS-5RS in our 19x10.5 ET18 fitment. If you're looking to run the ML-10RT, 19x10 ET12 square with 285/35-18s would be the better option.

I am never going to notice any performance difference. My only concern will be rubbing while turning. Guess 285 then.

Front - 19x10 et12 - MP4S 285/35
Rear - 20x11 et18 - 295/30

Love the look. Very slight rubbing at full lock during reverse. Plan is to use a dremel and shave the fins by a few mm.

Centercap Support: A Community Requested feature

When the ML-10 was initially designed by our Engineer Josh, it was created without support for a centercap. This is a logical approach for his intended use case: a widebody E46 track car driven at speeds where the caps just get in the way. After we launched our ML-10 design survey, it became clear that the majority of the community preferred to have the ability to run a center cap, whether it be ours or an OEM BMW cap. Adding the material in to allow the caps to seat into the wheel changes the look of the ML-10RT design, but we love the clean cap integration. Check out the photos below to see an 18x9 ET30 5x120 BMW wheel with the center cap support

Beyond just the cap, This is our first showcase of a profile 2 wheel. This size (18x9 ET30) is one of our most popular sizes for non-M 3 series and some M cars as well. Even with a lower profile like this profile 2, the lip depth of the ML-10RT remains the same which is a unique aspect of the monoblock construction that separates this design from similar 3-piece wheels.

Do you know your friend's (Red G87) VS-5RS specs, tire specs, and suspension setup? It looks very similar to what I am going for. Thanks!

Same setup as me: millway camber plates with eibach springs
