It was honestly, a quick look...we were going in opposite directions on a road with a fairly high speed limit. But it looked great.

For me personally, I actually think all of the colors do look great. The pics here on the forum are awesome, the couple of colors I have seen in person were also nice.

I just know I'm keeping the car for a bit longer than some, so I go to my slight favorite that I will never get "tired" of or want a change from...and that's the Alpine White...especially with a few contrasting black/carbon pieces.

Same here, mine is still at the port with an estimated departure date from the port of 3/20. Fingers crossed it gets delivered same day.

Yes, I came from a 2016 F30 340i...and this G87 feels much wider...and I parked it in the garage and there is definitely less space (width). It is definitely shorter than the other car.

I have 1600 miles now. I love it. I'm used to this kind of power so that part doesn't wow me. However the feeling is wild with the level 3 aggressive shifts jolt you in the seat lol. Smooth power comes alive in the top end. The car feels small to me. I love the tech and I enjoy figuring things out about the car. First mod will be AA EL as the car is too quite lol.

I haven't yet had the time to enjoy it on a back road but soon, this weekend.

How are you loving it?

I'm only about 450 miles in, so still in break in period.

I'm still loving it.

I drove the first couple of days in whatever modes it came in, and I was like "oh, it's not loud at all". But I was told by my family it was loud from the outside. Still haven't really heard it from out there yet.

But I put it in to the sport modes and can definitely hear a bit of difference in the car, but like you were saying, not loud. My wife said it was louder from inside the house when I arrived.

Like you mentioned, I'm enjoying learning the little things and (sounds silly, but) getting used to CarPlay. Never had that before.

I'll have to hear a sound clip once you install the AA EL!

My wife told me to hold off on the cosmetic things I had planned for the car for a bit. So, I guess I'll enjoy the mods little by little...maybe appreciate it more? LOL

I used the bmw for a week at work so that's why I got extra 600 miles right into RIS, with 30 miles to spare. I can't hear the exhaust over my music, I have to open the window to hear it. The car makes me feel special behind the wheel.

Launch control is way down on my list of things I *need* to do.

I'm the goofball over here giving a little wave to every 2 series vehicle that I see...like the way school bus drivers give a little honk to each other every time they drive near one.

I never see another M2, and 2 series are just as rare for me. And I drive all over Texas every day lol.

With the exception of having to use the M2 for a week of work last week, my driving it is reserved to after work and weekends. It's sort of like my therapy 🫠
