You can get the M4 CSL used market for pretty much same price as new M2 CS.

M4 CSL is just a bad ass car imo.

BMW just keep coming out new variant we can't keep up financially smh

I don't think the M2 CS is going to cost $115k
That's the price I've been seeing for the CSL.

I have an M2 on order and $35k buys a whole lot of upgrades.

Agreed (without adding up receipts, thats about where I am with mods), and the M4 look in general is the worst of the bunch, IMO.

I have an i4 M50 and like it, but not a real fan of the M4. I really like the M2 as it reminds me of my old E30 M3. I ordered my M2 in purple because I had a Techno Violet E36 M3.

I think the M4 can look okay and if it's the right color. If tariffs affect the M2, I'll pivot to an M4 in Venetian Violet. I'm not going to pay almost $100k for an M2. I just have to wait and see what happens. My car won't be built until May.

Question - will we ZF8 guys be able to flash to the CS’s stock ECU tune? (Without having to unlock?)

I agree. My F87 CS was $93K w/ CCBs. I'm guessing a $10K price increase for a similar spec so maybe $105K for a G87 CS w/ CCBs?

Yes they can and already have. No DME unlock, simple laptop and cable.

I think he pointed to the DME flash not the gearbox flash maybe. There are 2 different things for the DME, is a post map that can be done without unlock and is the actual map that cannot be done without unlock

If it could be possible why wouldnt people run the CSL map already

Skimming through the first thread that Bumpinjeep posted; any updates done at the dealer or via OTA have the potential to overwrite any CS/CSL flash. That really sucks. You can disable OTA updates but when you take your car in for service it's literally out of your hands.

I don’t think so. It will likely require a FSC just like existing G8x CS/CSL tunes.

I also recall seeing a new FSC slot appear after flashing my ‘23 G87 with the LCI DME software. Guessing that’s reserved for the M2 CS.

100% correct. I read that the modders will reflash for a small fee or sometimes even free. It's cheap (like $300 I think), but also not worth the risk in my book. Then again, I'm the idiot that has probably over $30K in the car I've owned for less than 2 years.
