It's so obvious that they will do this for MY25, horsepower "bump" and competition badge

Only the LCI M3/4 Comp models will see a bump from 503hp to 525hp. No word on the base models.

We know they will axe the base model M3/4 so no more manual cars. I bet they will also axe all 2wd m3/m4 competition models as well since take rate is probably the lowest of the line up. M2 will be the only way for you to buy a 2wd manual car. In my own selfishness I wish they axe all manuals at bmw to make my incoming manual g87 more valuable but I don’t think they will do it in thr US market… maybe only rest of the world.

I think RWD is a better term to use than 2wd.

Any info on when the LCI will come and if Individual colors can be ordered.

I wish BMW can update the taillights and provide some better wheel options.

I've read somewhere that it will be a MY25? So probably back end of next year?

Does anyone know if there will be styling changes to the exterior??

What new/individual colours would people in here like to see?

I’m thinking Voodoo blue for something especially vibrant and sporty, IOG or maybe even Tanzanite blue would look nice? A darker classier style?

What about Reds? I think a decent red would be good.

Yas Marina Blue would be great or Lemans Blue for darker shade.
I would prefer a lighter color as it really shows the body lines. All it needs is to be lowered with decent wheels.

I am actually tired of all of the blues. I agree that ligher shades show off the lines and can be offset well with those liking to add carbon pieces. Chalk would be a great option.

For a darker, meaner color...ruby black metallic would look great.

I know neither are happening but...

Hi all, new here. Considering ordering an M2. If MY2025 manufacturing starts in 8/2024, when do you think the 2025 configurator be available (either on BMW's site or something only the dealer can access to build orders)?

The online configurator for the 2025MY should be live in August 2024 when production starts.

Not sure if it was mentioned but I was able to configure the new colors a couple of months back and a few weeks ago, while it didn't have a color selection it still defaulted to the frozen blue but this is under the 2024 models

Sorry everyone as this thread is rather long so I did not read all of it but wanted to check is the MY2025 the CS model or just an improvement to the current base version? If it is an improvement of the base any idea what the CS model will be coming?

Thank you sir as usual. Pretty awesome how it lines up with when I am going to be ready to pull the trigger on a car.

So this is kinda late in the game and just not what I expected, but the latest specs for the MY25 are showing a bump in torque to 600Nm, in addition to the HP bump. Typo? Only BMW engineers know...
