SAI helping NOR with the DRS helped flummox Merc and I can only be happy with the way it turned out overall, it's only SAI's second win which was well overdue.

The RB was quick in race pace, especially on those mediums at the end.

I'm still not sure about that . We'll see it within 7 days at Suzuka..

I'm pretty sure, Ferrari is the team to beat and that won't be easy ..

I hope SAI gets more appreciation now at Ferrari.
At some point he was really treated as a 2nd driver, but his performance at Ferrari in the last 3 years is pretty much on par with LEC (2021 SAI was better, 2022 LEC was better and this year SAI currently leads again)

Man, that’s the last guy you want to give any sort of extra motivation haha P1 in quali by 2 sec, laps ever driver at least once, destroys every driver by bumping them off track during iracing races hahaha

Looks like SAI is the boss there at the mo and Chas just can't get the hang of the 'still' tricky F23 which is probably with a less aggressive map for safety as I mentioned previously.

I’ve been feeling this as well. I think he’s a better than Chuck. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves. I hope he changes everyone’s mind after the end of this season

That was a BRILLIANT race by SAI. Intentionally controlling the position was masterclass and "overriding" or not following pit wall orders was the icing on the cake (in a positive way).

Unfortunate for LEC but that's two races after the break where Ferrari is looking very strong. Suzuka should be fun to watch but being an aero track, VER back to winning again. HAHAHAHH

Russel clipping the wall before the corner was indeed 100% drivers error.
Probably fatigue and a small lapse of concentration.
That'll haunt him for a long time.
For us it gave an interesting twist to the finale

Trust me, I was watching the lap times and data from the entire singapore race.

The RB was lapping consistently faster than everyone up until GP told Max to slow down and protect tires behind Ocon, then the SC came out early and everyone was on new tires while they had 20-25 lap old hards.

But once those MEDs were on, he was lapping 3 seconds faster than everyone, and was on the same pace as the Mercedes with low fuel load and fresher tires.

He almost caught LEC at the end too.

Suzuka is where they'll be able to test out all their upgrades that they couldn't here, and the Ferrari still has bad tire deg compared to the RB.

And if it rains in Japan, which often it does, RB is guaranteed a win as Max is very good in the rain, and Ferrari straight line speed won't be an issue.

The TD has not affected anything on that RB, or Max wouldn't be able to work his way up the standings on pure pace.
