Sorry to hear that. My status flipped from RFT to Awaiting Transport to In Transit within a 2 hour span yesterday morning. I received an email from the Genius this morning saying it left on 12/11 on the Grand Champion.

Call them today or tomorrow. You may already be on a boat and just not be updated yet in their system. it can take up to 48 hours after your are on a ship to be updated.

I was loaded in Veracruz on 11/26 and went to Altamira, Had no clue i was on a ship until 11/28 and status didnt flip until the next day on the 11/29th.

If grand champion arrives in NJ on the 19th, what are the chances that the car gets to Boston before Christmas? I don’t have any port installed options.

i would say pretty good it just would have to depend out fast it got assigned a truck, and how many other stops that truck would have on the way to your dealer

Feels good to be out of the Gulf!

Coming down the home stretch here, almost don't know what I will do with my time once I actually get my car.

Just Kidding, looking forward to spending hours adjusting every setting, using bimmercode to adjust some more and if all else fails actually DRIVE!!!!

Wishing the Grand Champion a continued speedy journey as we come to our first drop off port of Brunswick around Mid-Night tonight!

Smile Making head way to Brunswick!

We are still chuggin up along the Atlantic in FL.. Quite close to where lived in West Palm Beach for a year. Now this is gettin REAL! lol im trying to figure out all the math... do i keep my current daily? do i even wanna finance it if i dont have to?

Anyway we are set to be in Brunswick according to their 15day outlook on the 16th. but we are only stayin in port for what looks to be 5-6 hours? which is quick. I would suspect if this is the current time line then i would expect cars to hit Baltimore on the 18th and NY/NJ on the 20th.

If we arrive at 1am on the 15th as according to the grand champion and we get put into port at say 7am EST on the 15th then we would still be on time for the 17th in Baltimore and 19th in NY/NJ

Lets really hope once we hit Brunswick they pull us in rather quick.

First post.

Just wanted to give a thank you to this forum for being incredibly accurate with information. Since my order in late July I’ve scrolled through this site to gain info on the car, the process, etc.

Oddly enough, I only learned on here how to track the build after allocation, and even better..who to ask what ship my car was on once in transport. The dealer offered none of this unless asked.

I am on the Grand Champion apparently, and I cannot wait to finally see one of these machines in person very soon.

Thank you again to everyone for your amazing input on here. Great community.

Thanks to everyone. My baby M is on Grand Champion. My first BMW was 1986 E30 M 325es, served me for almost 20 years. Since then I had many, when spotted G87 M2 at BMW race track event and just fell in love. Now enjoying this expectation torture, hoping for sooner delivery, but knowing this time is the best. How did you guys make your car choice?

Love that question!

I have been obsessed with Camaro’s owning a model from every generation other than the 1st gen. My last was a 2016 SS in Gun Metal Grey with Blue Graphics, tint, dressed up under the hood, CAI, Borla Exhaust, Ground Effects, Lowered, Tune, etc. Love that car but needed to sell it a few years back and get a sensible car as we bought a 28 acre property in upstate NY and a SUV with tow capacity was needed for trailering my side by side, lugging supplies from lowes, etc. Anyway I have been convincing myself this new car was fine but secretly I have been aching for an enthusiast car again. Recently things have changed again and I went through a cancer diagnosis and have so far beaten it. Priorities changed, my wife traded her car for an SUV and I needed to decide on a new Camaro, maybe upgrade to a Corvette or go for something with a little more prestige and quality. After researching Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Genesis and Cadillac at around the 50 - 60k range I chose the BMW 3 series. It seems the sportiest / classiest car mixing sport with luxury but sticking a little more on the sport side. Also for me it is the BEST looking of the bunch. Then I needed to decide on the B58 M340 or the B48 330 M Sport and ultimately for my budget I could go for the extra horsepower and forego a bunch of options or get a 330 EXACTLY the way I want. Decided to go fully loaded as I am not tracking the car getting 0 - 60 in the low 5 second range is fine and the car is a little lighter with a better steering rack from what I have seen. This is the first car I have custom ordered and waiting has been hell, but life is too short, get exactly what you want and the wait will be worth it.

Sorry this is a little long but it has been a long wait, to everyone on the Grand Champion we are getting really close,

Waiting on a 330i M Sport in Brooklyn Grey / Tacora Red interior with All Black Wheels, Adaptive Suspension, Parking and Driving Pro Packages, Sensatec Dash, Drive Recorder, Harmon Kardon Audio, Premium Pack with Heads Up, Extended Shadowline.

So far ordered Bimmerplug Side Skirts, LED Mirror Strips, Bimmercode ECU plugin, Dinan Strut Bars, All Weather BMW mats, Tow Hook License Plate Mount. Holding off on performance upgrades until spring and break in period is over.

LETS GOOOOOOOO!

Hey Bimmer homies.. Just updating and sharing some of my storying to but first the update..

As the grand champion is making its way up the coast there is legit a huge storm literally following it the entire way and from what it looks like it could be pretty rough out there so there could be a few delays...

I used to weight over 613lbs and i lost 400lbs. so during this adventure i had a VW GTI pictured below. I went through a divorce, turned 40, and well now im going to live a little and enjoy me to the fullest. I sold my GTI to get my X3 and there has been lots of regret but i love my x3 so im going to try and keep it and the M2 but we shall see how rough of a year it will be with property taxes smh
