Those are NOT OEM.

You can order the OEM ones through your dealerships now, and you don’t have to have an M on your car to do so. With the part number, I ordered only the wheel center caps, and they arrived yesterday after about 3 weeks.

if that isnt OEM, so how about amazon ? i just saw these on amazon, super super cheap for front+rear badge and 4 wheel cap only ~30$ have anyone tried with that ?

What are they made out of? Are they metal or some type of plastic? The OEM ones.

Asked my dealer yesterday if they can order the badges for me since adding them to my build would have, apparently, added 1-2 months to my order. They said I can definitely order the badges "soon" but they won't be available till Sept+ (end of the year) and that's "according to BMW".

Love to know how people are going about actually ordering theirs.

I grabbed one off of Aliexpress just to see. I can't tell completed but it's either a screen print or a sticker on the face of the emblem. I don't know what the OE emblems are made out of nor have I taken one off to see if the weight/consistency are similar.

I purchased one for the front and it has two posts on the back and a piece of tape for the center. That doesn't seem correct but I'm also basing this off of youtube videos showing emblem removal for older cars.....

They are made out of the same material the standard center caps are made of, plastic.

Now that I am in the production begins phase I asked my CA about whether it would come with the 50 year M emblems, and he was uber confident since it's on the accepted build sheet it would be delivered with them intact.
