I’ve been thinking about getting this valve controller. For any of you who have this installed, does option C return it to OEM functionality? It looks like option B permanently closes the valves and could potentially cause some harm if you get on it too much. I would like the option to revert it to stock functionality when I want a cruise in comfort and not attract too much attention lol.

4 settings: 100% open 100% closed (very quiet, only use for road driving, don't get on it) OEM settings 50% open

There is no doubt about it - flip from OEM to 100% open and the difference is really noticeable. Louder and deeper tone. Not crazy, no drone, but a worth-it mod for sure if you want more exhaust sounds inside & out.

i can vouch this is a very likely possibility. i had a FI exhaust system on my f85 X5M manual valve control. Truck was stage 2/3 with high flow cats.
on a weekend trip i had to valet the car. the valves were left closed. when i left the hotel the next night i heard a loud exhaust sound at could start and just loud exhaust driving home. it appears that one of the connect points were blown off from the other. i assume the valet had some nice joyrides in my car pushing the car till its limits and just too much air movement with the valves closed. so lesson learned, leave the valves open or in stock mode if someone else is planning to drive the car Quote:
