Damn, Skyscraper and Portimao were my two favorite colors when I was looking at G80s. I went with Brooklyn Grey on the M2 and I wasn’t sold on it but it has definitely grown on me, looks good with black accents, when dirty and in different lights. It’s a pretty neutral color. Very similar to other manufacturers colors though.

Trading for a different color would probably not be smart hmm

Think I’m going to have to do the Gloss Portimao Metallic vs Frozen. I don’t have the time or patience these days for increased anxiety about how to wash and maintain Frozen paint. I run my cars through a great no-touch auto wash about every 4 times between a manual spray for the 5th.
It will not have the same wow factor though, unfortunately.

Agreed. Any green would have been great - IOMG or a nice dark green would have looked killer. It really is annoying you can spend $70k on a car and still feel gypped - poor leather quality, no 360 camera, no interior color options, no individual, etc.

I can't afford a 100k car, I was hoping the 68k car I ordered would have these basic features but I guess thats asking too much from BMW

Custom interior colors with upgraded leather surfaces aren't "basic features". Your expectations for a 2 series are way off mark.

lol, love yellows on performance cars. Had it on an 07 vette and lusted for it on a 3000GT TT back in the 90’s. After owning it on the C6 it garnered a surprising amount of negative attention from other drivers and people in general. Polarizing color choice.
I’d be tempted for a M2 in SPY.

remember phoenix yellow used to be called "baby puke yellow" and now magically those cars are pined after and why oh why didnt more people order it.... i dunno that SPY will be that color, but low take rates on stuff does seem to make them more interesting down the road. thats one of those colors that may actually add resale simply by virtue of no one picking it....

I'm not sure I'd call SPY actually "yellow". It's definitely a highlighter color. On the other hand you have something like Austin Yellow, which is actually amazing.
