So this is my first time ordering a vehicle so I’m pretty new to the process.

I gave my sales rep the info on my build and he said I’m first in line and would reach out to finalize colors and packages once he’s able to place the order.

It looks like some people were able to get their orders placed. Is this because their dealership got an allocation and I have to wait on mine to get one?

Sorry for any dumb questions, just haven’t done this before.

Sounds like they either placed your order in the “order bank” or put you on a wait list for an allocation (as I understand it). Did they take a deposit?

He said I didn’t have to worry about a deposit. Don’t know if that’s because my boss does a lot of business through him or if it’s because I just didn’t need to yet.

BradMX5 Gotchya, this is my first time ordering a new BMW as well but I’m still on the waitlist. My CA said he’ll take my order/deposit when he recieves an allocation. With that being said, the deposit should be refundable (at least from what others have said on here).

Some dealerships have allocations.
My dealership got one so far. I'm next in line.
Until there is an allocation, they cannot enter the order into the system.
Once an order is entered into the system and accepted you will get an order number and you can use that number to track progress.

Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like I’m first in line for an allocation. Hopefully that doesn’t take too long.

Yeah I was told the deposit would be $1k and it’s refundable. Then he said not to worry about it. So it might come back up once he has an allocation.

We actually can enter the orders into the system, it just gets labeled “order bank” until more allocations come out, at which point those allocations automatically get assigned to the “order bank” vehicles

Sounds like I'll be waiting for the September round of allocations then. It is a smaller dealership so they must not have gotten any allocations.

If they don't publish it in a few days, it's always roughly a month after debut before they do. Sometimes I wonder if they intentionally do that just to help get rid of the previous model year cars...

Definitely Twilight Purple and MT.
All the options available that don't kick me in to an auto. Also port installed MPHAS.
Silver wheels.
The full carbon package.

This will be the 2nd BMW I've ordered and like last time I got everything because I was paranoid that I've have second thoughts if I left anything off.

LOL I hear you about being paranoid if you skip something. I would do the same but my budget will overrule any desire I may have to add additional option.

The only thing I have is good sense to overrule my paranoia about buyers remorse.

I think my paranoia is winning.

This is because Ronin has decided on Java Green and needs others to let him know what Twilight Purple looks like so he knows he is confident that he made the right decision with Java Green.

That sounds like a "Jedi mind trick".

MY25's are starting to trickle into dealerships. Here are walkarounds of a couple of 2025 Portimao Blue Metallic G87s.
