That sucks. I had to drive mine about 200 miles before ppf and had a similar incident. No dent, but a decent chip in the hood.

Dirtywabbit It looks like you installed tint on your windows. What did you go with and what are the specs on it? I love how it looks on the car and your build looks very similar to what I ordered.
Also, is that the M performance spoiler, or did you order an aftermarket once that is the same shape (at a lower cost?)? |

I couldn’t reply to dm but I live in Miami but do not mind driving to Fort Lauderdale or north. I just looked up Xpel official detailers and they showed a bunch of places but you never know these days I only trust from word of mouth or pics. Lmk

Not necessarily & I would have to disagree with you on this. Regardless of the impact, the end result would've been far less harm to the surface level clear coat & paint underneath that had the thick & fairly resilient PPF been on top. To what extent of finish damage would've occurred... ? None of us will ever know because we can't rewind the clock. But surely the damage would've have been substantially worse. Now if the stone or debris was bigger than a dime, then that's a completely different series of events.

A little late but here she is. Picked up End of June. M performance parts and MP HAS all port installed. Rear spoiler from Kies Motorsports (looked much better and beefier than the M performance one). Had full PPF done right away.
Shoutout to Phil and the folks over at Detailers Domain for really taking good care of me. They did the whole PPF, ceramic coating, black M2 badge, and the rear CF spoiler. |

DO_e90 that looks awesome! Are you in the NJ area if you went to Detailers Domain? I have nearly the same car as you ordered and hoping to take delivery in the next 4-6 weeks (ready for transport right now).

No PPF either and no visible damage in 3-4k miles despite some gravel truck's best efforts on the highway, this paint is tougher then most people think |

iifymbro yeah that’s looking great still. Makes me happy because won’t have a garage and doubt I will hand wash more than every 2-3 weeks.

yeah driving on wet roads gets it pretty dirty from the road spray n' such but if you leave it out in the rain when you park a lot of it comes right back off with the ceramic coating applied, not like washing it but it makes it look good enough.
