Loving the Las Vegas Red. Is this called Fire Red in other markets or is it a different color all together?

CarScoops article about the 2025 2-Series refresh.

I can't believe they actually had good things to say about the 2025....Considering the site is mostly pro-EV content nowadays.

https://www.carscoops.com/2024/06/20...ger-price-tag/

Even people in the comment section seemed to have warmed up to the m240i

I mean a lot of us rather not have the hybrid system, and don’t need a lane keeping for a small coupe, power trunk those features adds nothing to the driving experience. Very tiny things. If it really bothers you it can be upgraded.
When most people get this car they didn’t get it for the technology. Now, if it were different drivetrain or transmission that’s a different story.
The m340i simply doesn’t drive better, if anything it drives worse

I've owned both and they are both great driving cars, but the 2 series is noticeably smaller and you can feel that when you drive (even if the weights are close). It's more fun and tossable.

In 2-years, I'll be trading my 2022 M240i Xdrive for another one. I hope they have this color as an option. I'll have to see it in person. Any BMW model will do. In the photos, it really looks great on the M240i .

The i5 is available in this color. Maybe able to see one of those at a dealership.

Yes. I already did a Youtube search. When the time gets closer, I'll make a point to seek one out.

i think mazda's red is one of the best looking shades out there on the road. im looking forward to seeing the new red on the m240i's if it comes close. didnt like the current one... too orangey. i love orange, but it should be red or orange, not both. ha. lastly, the red seems to benefit the most in upgraded looks with the color matched lower trim.

Agreed. The Mazda red is a really great color.

All subjective opinions of course but I think most of the int/ext changes are for the good. Body colour sides and rear valance are a big improvement IMO (Plenty Differ!) but....
Do we need three Greys? I appreciate keeping the shouty loud colours for the M cars ... but 3 Greys???
I like Fire Red but I have a sneaking suspicion it wont look like that heavily shop'd pic in real life.
The rest of the colours are fine as they always have been - BSM being the best obviously!
The addition of body colour "side skirts" will help the other colours catch up in fairness.

Never been a big fan of leather (too hot in summer/too cold in winter) so welcome the choice of Tex Black Cloth - if it looks and feels ok, something I would certainly consider. Holds you better in the seat when the occasion calls for it too.
The Black Vernasca with Red Trims looks like someone skinned Deadpool!😱

Also welcome a carbon trim option to the interior but also note the addition of yet another gawdy ambient lighting trim in the centre of the dash - that's not gonna be easy gotten rid of! Hopefully it's not as bad IRL.
The new Steering Wheel I can take or leave, a tad over designed but fine either way.

When I spec'd my car, I preferred the 792M wheels to the 893Ms.
Now they have changed the 792M wheels to a Jet Black version it makes them very like the 893's in terms of colour - the MTechnology Pack would be a no brainer from my perspective now.

Another plus for the Mazda red. I noticed that red some time ago. Thought it looked great then and I still do. If this Vegas red is close, it should look good on the sporty M240i.

I think the most beautiful is 898 M Frozen Gunmetal, which you can order additionally as a winter set.

Alcantara/Sensatec Black with contrast stitching Blue
