Turned my Saphire Black Metallic into San Marino Blue!

Sprayed on, more protective than PPF, about 1/2 the cost of a good wrap, and looks just like paint. It even fools the dealership folks, who thought I somehow got individual paint. I wash it, wax it, even ceramic coated it. And if I don't like it down the road, I can just peel it off.

Might do Aventurine Red or Fern Green.
How much did it cost you for the autoflex?

I've seen examples of great jobs and poor jobs, and the more reputable installers will usually be pricier.

Really stand out under the nice sunshine.
How the autoflex spray warp hold on? How long has your car been applied it?
I am also considering to change my M3 color to another M color. 😊

It has been on over 4 years now, and still looks great.

Amazing product.

You're right. A good installer with a high quality paint gun and paint booth is key. Just like with a paint shop. Mine was $2,600, but I think the price has gone up to around $3,000 now.

A Java Green 750. I like the color for some reason. It would probably look great on a G87.

Yet, those of us with early allocations are going to be screwed with boring colors.

Porsche would not do that to their loyal followers.

just buy the m2 and when individual colours come out sell the m2 (probably for more than you paid for it) and get a new one

That and probably even upgrade to the competition model if it isn’t offered the first year.

But Porsche charge me $11k for their paint to sample. I don't care how much I like a color, I am not paying $11k.

Sometimes BMW individual colors can cost more. A color BMW has never sprayed before, it is $2500 R&D + $5k. BMW will charge $10k+ for some special colors like Pure Metal Silver.

Porsche is one of those brands where you can get back most of that cost in secondhand market, especially if your GT car is a paint-to-sample.

I would gladly pay $11k for PTS on a 992. Exclusivity on a 911 is important to most owners.

Haven't seen both red colors in real car, so don't know the difference.

Imola is a great shade of red! The following link is a perfect example of Imola Red on a super low mileage E39 M5 that recently sold on Bring A Trailer. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-bmw-m5-166/
