I hope that is a bad picture/rendering because it looks like the splitter does not connect at the edge by the fender well (or if it does, there us a gap to collect garbage).

I’m with you on this, the oem Porsche splitters on GT etc all like this and cost like 3-400 bucks from the dealer cause they know it’s going to take a beating.

Don’t get me wrong I like functional carbon and the Alpha N hood and csl trunk get me seriously moist. I love my carbon roof, but I just don’t see the point in putting it and inch off the floor.

Maxton designs has a bunch of different options in gloss black. I haven’t seen anyone pick one up and post pictures yet though.

Normal? I assume you mean not cf? I believe there are some, or at least one, that is/are not cf. Dont recall the manufacturer as if I was installing a lip, I wouldn't go with one that is not cf.

by normal I mean ...just a lip. not something that looks like some gundam fighter/transformer/ground effects. a regular front lip

I agree. I don’t understand why all the splitters on the market have so much unnecessary detail/winglets/angles/slots/ducts/etc. Some of them really detract from the lines of the car IMO. The Alpha N lip looks good but is a tad pricey. The M Performance splitter is a nice complement. I would prefer it without the Tie Fighter style wings on the sides.

I have debated that one, but not sure about installation.

right? I mean the old garage door moulding shit people would put on Miatas looks better than these things at this point. im waiting for eBay to kick something up before I end up making my own.

Look at the R44 splitter (at the top of this page)...it is cf but very nice clean look with no frilly add-ons.
