Anyone know when the orders will go live? Information states 25 models arrive at the dealerships in August.

Looks like all of the 2025 models may come with leather knee pads. We shall see.

Not in the US. They were only available on the models with the black Vernasca interior with blue M stitching. All the others have hard plastic.

Noticed the bmwusa site now has the 2 series refresh listed. ps://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/2-series/coupe/overview.html#soc25-2Series The build your own is not yet available though. One surprising facet I had not seen elsewhere is the the USA site shows that the 48V mild hybrid will be present. Not a big deal to me either way as that system is pretty well proven and works well on our X3 M40, but still a surprise to see it on the 2 series.

If that is the case you will be probably be saying goodbye to the override ASS button.

The 2024 model had the same information before they corrected the site. If the US doesn’t even get M sport seats for the M240i, there is NO way we’d be the only country to get it with a hybrid.

Seats are indeed lame for us spec cars. I think I might go aftermarket now. The support is quite shite on the stock seats even with side bolsters

Agreed, the M-Sport seats are much better and they should be offered as an option on US spec vehicles. I have these seats on our M4 and they look and feel much better.

I'm pretty sure I would have dropped 1000 or 1500 Canadian Pesos on the M-Sport seats if they could be optioned. Maybe more? Bit of a miss for BMW I think.

The thing that gets me is that the 2 Series Grand Coupe can be optioned with much nicer seats in the U.S, but not the sportier proper 2 Series.

Just specced the 'LCI' model to the same as my 2022 one, and with finance using the same deposit i put down on my current one, its coming in at £947 a month.....no thanks Mr BMW, I cant justify spending nearly £400 a month more for the same car....
Has anyone else seen how much the finance costs are ?

the interest rate is also a lot higher than in 2022. But 400 more per month is a lot of money.

In Belgium, the standard price is a lot higher than the 2024 model, but it does have more options such as heated seats, wireless charging, alarm and dark windows. if you add those options to the 2024 model, the price is almost the same.

Yep, £575 vs £947. with a £5k deposit. Everything is now a charged option such as m sports seats, HK, and it soon adds up.

That's a bit much. I had a chance to get into a '22 for about 970 a month based on certain factors of the trade and no money down. I deliberated and lost the chance to buy that car. Ended up with my '23, which cost 2k more from base price, plus I added a couple thousand worth of options that were not on the '22 I was looking at, and my payments ended up at 1053/mth with a 5.49% APR rate versus the '22 with 2.99%. So even with about 4K more on the sticker (less 2K negotiations), and a 2.5% interest increase, my payments were only up 8.5%. I even think my trade value was less when I traded for the '23 as well.

So even with interest rates, that's an enormous jump for you.
