I currently have a '24 manual, and I have my name down for a CS, but if they are bringing the end date forward and ditching the manual in '26, I might cancel the CS and get a LCI manual instead.

Not sure what doesn’t make sense to you or why you’re calling me out specifically and trolling me. I already have a G87 manual but would like BMW to offer an AWD Manual. Pretty simple. I think others would too. I didn’t “mutter to the world “, just posted in a G87 thread. And I wouldn’t characterize Xdrive S58 as a “Rocketship or Monster”. It’s reasonably quick but ultimately boring over time without the 3rd pedal. I’ve driven a bunch of G80 Xdrives and while they’re not as boring as a soccer mom crossover X3M, after a while I miss the 3rd pedal. 😂

To be fair all high-performance cars are boring unless you're on a track or driving in a way that's frowned upon on public roadways. Even my 680 hp Z06 (significantly quicker/faster/lighter than my M2) is boring driving around town, and the 3rd pedal makes it rather annoying if there is any bit of traffic - for me personally

This. Does everything I want it to do and more. And if I want to play boy racer I just bump it into S and use the paddles. I don't need to jab my left foot on a peddle to have fun manually shifting. I did that countless times in more cars then I care to remember and that ship has sailed. lol

Limited car vs non-limited car. RWD vs xDrive etc.

Extending the production, that was one idea floated around.

My flooded G87 would have definitely changed your mind about the "monster" characterization! 🤣

I see you're in NY. Once my new one is up and running I'll have to take you for a ride and see if I really can't change your mind.

Only issue is my car is RWD, not xDrive, but if it goes well maybe I'll get my friend to come with his 1200whp G80 CS.

Some of my favorite memories were taking people for rides in that car on full E and matting the gas in 3rd from like 40. A few people have actually gotten sick. My fiancé is a trooper. She still wants to come racing, but she got sick 3 separate times!

Agreed. For around town and anywhere under 80mph, I prefer the short gearing, hydraulic steering, short shifts and abnoxious external waste gate of my 500 something HP STi. It’s the old driving a slow car fast idea of fun even though my Subbie is faster than my stock
M2.

Yes, I’ve seen you on Nichols a bunch of times and I’m in one of your vids driving by (In my Bronco) lol.

Modified is a game changer obviously RWD or Xdrive. I guess you can use the term monster at those power levels 😀

Hopefully they extend production, that would be a pretty good reason for an LCI 2.0 update. Then they could facelift the front/rear and while they're at it also give the car 3D cameras. I don't buy BMWs excuse that the M2 doesn't have them since it's more of a focused sporty M car. That shipped sailed long ago with how heavy the car is and now the CS and xDrive being AT only. The G80/2 have 3D cams as an option, other M cars have them, even the base model 2-Series has them. There's no excuse the M2 shouldn't get them as well.

My buddy has a G80 xdrive comp and it is a riot. I think the G87 will be a home run with xdrive.

Ya ya... yawn yawn. That's what they all say, a slower car is fun because your left foot gets to push down a third pedal. Save the manual stickers are everywhere. You hugging the proverbial clutch pedal you still worship means jack squat to many of us. And only those foolish people who have never gotten properly smoked by fairly stock or slightly modified X3 M Comp who say what you just did. Ya, a 4,500 lb AWD SAV that easily dips into the 10's is a soccer mom mobile. And Trump is an honest, moral man who's a great person & doesn't just care about money. Sure sure. Keep telling yourself whatever helps you sleep at night. Have you ever raced or tracked your "super cool holy grail manual" cars against the M3 of the SUV world... ? Didn't think so. Clowns of the the board that confuse an X3 M with just like the rest of them always make me laugh. LMAO Not sure who pissed in your cheerios this morning or kicked your dog, but it wasn't me Drew...

I actually like the X3M and know very well how capable it is. Soccer mom comment set you off? There is an X3 forum, Kev. Not sure why you don’t go there. You will be king of X3s with your “M3 of the SUV world”. And yes, it was you who pissed in my cheerios for no reason while I was minding my own business with these classic comments:

“Do you ever think about the things you want to say before muttering them to the world?”

And

“Class is currently in session & you need to pay better attention to the lessons being taught bud.”

There is no reason to antagonize forum members for no reason bud. You should be positively contributing to elevate the community.

Now I gotta go. Trying to convince my WIFE to get an X3M. Kids gotta get to soccer somehow and they won’t fit in my super cool holy grail manual M2 and she can’t drive manual either. 😂

I once strapped on some roller skates and stuck a rocket up my ass and ran a 9.0 @ 160 in the 1/4. It was fast but not really all that cool.
