When I look at the grille surround of the G42 it looks dated to me. I don't know why, but I feel that way with most of the styling on that car. I'm glad the G87 has a more normal grille size without the surround if that makes sense. Should look more aggressive and have a fresh look without being offensive like the G80/2 which I want to punch in its fugly face.

I actually prefer the grills on the G87, the border that connects the grills of the G42 makes it look too much like a modern day Kia.
