Premier Pro model, software update fixed the issues not sure what patch version they installed. Profile and physical keys working fine again now.
Which country you are mate? I am still struggling to find out if UK's dealers do have the update. You should be able to see the version from settings, general settings and then all way down to software update.

I can confirm that I was able to get to issue resolved after visiting Marshals at Hook dealership. I had no luck with Inchape in Reading as they were insisting to both myself and BMW customer services that no update was available for my car.

My car is a Premier Pro and the updated version now is 11/2021

Anything else different after 11/21 update? Pre warming? Navigation?

I read from here https://gathering.tweakers.net/forum...s/2069902/last that they don't currently do 11-21 for pre-LCI:

"There is currently a restriction on updating the PreFL to the current software I-level 21-11-5xx.
Vehicles with an older I-step should not be upgraded to the top or I-step 21-07-5xx, this would disable the electric cold condenser.

Therefore, there may not be an OTA update offered at the moment and so it can't be said for sure if the PreFL will get the battery conditioning later, as it was only in the 07/21-5xx.

The issue should be resolved with the next release (probably March)."

What is the electric cold condenser?
They have updated mine. How to test if it is disabled or not?

I'd believe that refers to battery cooling "Elektrischen Kältemittelverdichter"

So if I understand correctly, there is no way to fix the Driver Profile issue on pre-LCI cars at the moment? Unless you want to risk disabling the aircon cooling?!

I'll hold on few months so I'll get the 03/22 version directly

Well apparently I and few others were able to update our pre LCI models in the UK which resolved that issue. I don't understand what Germans said and if that is relevant to our cars.

Hi Guys,

when you select a driver profile, does it setup both front seats or only the driver one ?

Hello Everyone,

I just got my 2023 X3 M40i, and I would like to know how do I turn off the Setting up the Driver's Profile prompt? Every time I get in the car, the first thing that keeps showing up is that prompt. I've already set my seating memory preset to 1 of the 2 buttons, so I don't know why I need to set this Driver's Profile up. It's just me driving the car, and the prompt is just very annoying, and I would rather now register an account with BMW. Thanks. Peace!

You setup a profile for each key and it automatically adjusts your settings when that key is used. Once you have created a profile it will stop asking.

I had purchased the Drive Recorder, but didn't see the app under the App section in my car. Shouldn't the app come with the car, or do I have to setup the Driver's Profile first before it's available? Thanks for the assistance!

The app is the My BMW app for your phone, but you can create a profile in the car without it.

Just go to Car, driver profiles and create new profile. Follow the on-screen prompts and it will take literally two mins
