I fully agree. The more I see the G87 M2 the more I like it. Looks sick in black here & that front splitter is fire. The side winglets have never done anything for me. On any car. Looks like it belongs on a plane all these stingray looking flaps before & after the rear tires. I would get the front splitter, lower the car & keep the Milltech. But that's it.

I’d like to see this on a car with colour. Not to be dismissive but leaning into the BSM variant is a bit disingenuous IMO as it hides many of the lines and the 2-tone elements like ‘missing’ front lip and the ‘awkward’ plastic pieces on the rear. At this point, pretty much everyone agrees BSM is the best colour because it hides the bits people don’t like. The pieces themselves aren’t pronounced either as the carbon blends into the paintwork. Show me these pieces on a blue car and I’ll be more convinced as to the apparent ‘transformation’…

The G87 looks menacing in BSM
It’s no different with the F87, it also looks best in darker colours

That’s absolutely amazing. I like the M2 anyways but you guys have transformed it. Even the tyres look the perfect size and nice and chunky.

Out of interest, are those HRE available for the F82 M4 Jack?

PS. Since VGA was mentioned earlier, does anyone remember CGA?
I do. 1984, AutoCAD 2.0 on a Zeos International 286 running DOS with an IBM Color Graphics Adapter (ATI Small Wonder video card) and a 14” IBM 5153 12" CRT Monitor. The pixels were as big as lintel beans lol

I bombed so many CGA cows from my Sopwith biplane.

Edit: now I feel the urge to get an emulator and play this again. Dang it.

Just came here to say....

That front splitter is fire - specially compared to the monstrosity that M Performance is offering.

Question hard is the install in the garage without a lift

Wondering the same.. It looked pretty straight forward from their video except the bit where the video skipped forward and seemed like they had removed the kidney grill to mount the combined 3 pieces of the splitter and then re installed the grill with attached splitter. I didn’t quite follow that part on the video. I’m optimistic it’s removal of factory bolts and plastic rivets, prep the area and attach and install new splitter.

Yes, these highly edited installation videos are not very good for determine difficulty level.

Thing with these splitters is that they will be pushed up sooner or later going up a ramp, and will be pushed down on track at high speeds. Mounting is key.

I liked the fact that in 2 places these appeared to go over the factory lip, which would be great to resist pushing down.

Firstly, just realised why the photos are all low resolution to most of you guys. Because I uploaded the thumbnails that click to the full resolution, which only works on desktop. That’s my bad!

In terms of the install of the splitter, we will have a tutorial this week. There are a couple of different ways to install but we did the most extensive way for my car to show how it should be done.

I saw this being transported on a flatbed truck on the M25 ACW yesterday afternoon. Definitely made me take a second and third look.

The splitter, side skirt and winglets are so so much better than the OEM MP one. The oem looks like a joke. This looks amazing.

100% agree with this. I was just at MPact and there were many G87 M2's there (modded and stock, all colors). This car looks absolutely menacing it black, but the lighter colors simply do not suit the car.

My front splitter, side skirts, spoiler, and mirror caps are being held hostage by DHL. It's getting very annoying. I want parts!

Update: my parts were delivered today to my dealership, but I was off so I haven't seen them yet. I'm back to work tomorrow and I'll break them open. My PPF will be done next Wednesday, then install on Friday. I'm finally getting excited. Everything is coming together.

Congrats. I'm new to BMW (still waiting for my M2 to arrive), but is this common - to have the dealer install third party aftermarket parts?

I see lots of owners here saying they go that route - just wondering what the advantages are vs a Indy performance shop.

Thanks.

My advantage is that I am a BMW employee, so I have a heavily discounted labor rate, and since I'm friends with the technicians, a lot of times they just install the parts. For example, my Mishimoto skid plate was installed during my break-in service. The tech just installed the skid plate since the car was already lifted. He did not charge me half an hour for labor like he would have any other customer.

Other than that, there isn't a benefit in having the dealer do it, as long as your alternative method does quality work.
